Cid Martin has been in the roofing industry for 14 years and a licensed contractor since 1992. He began his career with one of the largest stone coated steel installers in Northern California. He built up and managed their lead generation department generating an average of 50 leads per day for the direct in home sales department.
In 1989, he transferred to Southern California to start a wood restoration division in which he focused on in home sales and insurance claims processing. It was during this time he learned how the insurance process worked with regards to storm related damages to wood roofs and resultant water damages.
In 1992, he started his own company working primarily with homeowners who had sustained storm related damage to their roof as well as general re-roofing and repairs.
In 1996, he met the founder Les Watrous and began to work with Les in building the Cert-A-Roof® system. As the first franchise owner for Cert-A-Roof®, Mr. Martin has an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the Cert-A-Roof® system and especially in the area of the Cert-A-Roof® inspection and certification program. His experience will enable Cert-A-Roof® to position itself as the leader in the real estate community.

Keith Bennett, entrepreneur, contractor, and franchise owner, is a leader in the environmental roofing business. He brings a variety of business experiences, including temperature and humidity controlled environments, packaging design performance, construction, residential and commercial roofing.
During the mid-1980’s, Mr. Bennett spent two years in the construction of a 10 million-dollar frozen food processing plant for Coca-Cola Foods, then contracted to do the Tenant Improvements for the Department of Defense.
It was during this time he uncovered the fact that roofing contractors, hired on as sub-contractors, were inconsistent in their quality of work, business conduct and personnel. He formed a local roofing company in 1989 that specialized in fire-prone, hillside homes in the counties of Los Angeles and Orange.
In 1995, he shifted his focus to commercial roofing, with emphasis on high technology solutions, such as single ply’s, rubber, urethanes and Elastomeric coatings. These high-tech solutions were helping to provide environmental and societal benefits, which the EPA, DOD, Department of Energy and Environmental Community were praising.
Mr. Bennett has been at the forefront of the Spray-in-Place Elastomerics and other COOL ROOF products for commercial properties. He has installed in excess of 1,000,000 s/f of these coatings in New York, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, California and Mexico.
As one of the original Cert-A-Roof® franchise owners in Orange County, Mr. Bennett is a current member of the Cert-A-Roof® Franchise Advisory Board. His expertise will help position Cert-A-Roof® as the leader in roofing solutions, by bringing these new, high technology products to our customers, and addressing the EPA’s issue regarding the “Urban Heat Island” phenomena. In turn, this will lead to new opportunities and skills for our installation teams.
